South Bay Children’s Musical Theater

South Bay Children’s Musical Theater offers theater auditions, movie auditions, acting workshops, youth theater productions, original musicals, movies, singing showcases, and special events. The program features original musicals, movies, singing showcases, and special events that include kids of different ages.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Over the past thirty years, director John Bisceglie and his team have worked with thousands of children in the San Francisco Bay Area, producing more than two hundred original musicals, movies, singing showcases, and special events featuring kids of all ages. South Bay Children’s Musical Theater is led by Director John and Office Manager Aaron. SBCMT states that it is dedicated to offering high quality performing arts experiences to Bay Area youth ages 5–18, and that its youth theater productions provide performing arts training that boosts children’s self-esteem, confidence, and teaches the value of teamwork. Parents have shared that they were grateful for the staff’s dedication, commitment, and efforts to provide an opportunity for young people from around the Bay Area. One parent reported that their son “had a BLAST” and was very sad when the experience ended. Another parent commented that they were “amazed and in awe at how awesome the show turned out with only an hour and half practice each week and a 2-practice tech week.”
