The Tech Interactive Youth Programs
The Tech Interactive, 201 S Market St, San Jose, CA 95113
About
The Tech Interactive Youth Programs include hands-on activities, experimental labs, and design challenge experiences. Participants engage with interactive exhibits on climate change, robotics, innovations in healthcare, and cybersecurity, and can attend LASERS! laser shows set to hit music in an IMAX Dome Theater. The programs also include week-long summer camp sessions where campers collaborate to explore big ideas and make hands-on projects inspired by that week’s theme, as well as The Tech Challenge, which invites teams of students in Grades 4–12 to use the engineering design process to solve a real-world problem such as designing, building, testing, and demonstrating an innovative lifting device that can transfer housing modules from one place to another on a construction site.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Week-long summer camp sessions; The Tech Interactive is closed for a private event March 11–23 and will reopen on March 24.
