About

Diana's Rhythmic Club offers rhythmic gymnastics that combines ballet and creative movements to music while working with ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes, and clubs. Classes use elements of flexibility and coordination together with apparatus such as dance, ball, ribbon, clubs, hoop, and rope. The program states a mission of inspiring grace and strength through the Olympic sport of rhythmic gymnastics.

Diana's Rhythmic Club has been training gymnasts in the Bay Area since 2004 and was originally named Starlite Gymnastics Academy for six years before changing to Diana's Rhythmic Gymnastics. The competitive team includes both a Development Program that prepares gymnasts for elite levels of competition and an Xcel program that is described as lower cost and allowing more flexibility in time commitment. The club states that rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport exclusive to girls.

The program has a Team Unity Policy that expects gymnasts to be exceptional teammates and to communicate in respectful and supportive ways. Team training is drop off and pick up only, parents may watch the beginning or end of training but no sideline coaching is allowed, and parents are not allowed to videotape classes unless a coach specifically asks them to do so. All gymnasts must wear tight-fitting athletic tops and bottoms such as shorts or leggings, with no loose-fitting clothing, no jewelry other than post-stud earrings, and hair tied back, preferably in a high bun. Electronic devices, including cell phones, smart watches, tablets, and computers, must be turned in to the coaches table for the duration of each practice.

Diana's Rhythmic Club hosted the 2025 NorCal State Championships for over 180 athletes, and the team has performed and participated in various profit and non-profit events around the San Francisco Bay Area. The program states that it is committed to providing a safe, fun, and positive learning environment for students.
