San Jose Rush Soccer’s player-centered approach, national-level program, and elite-level coaching are stated in its mission as the basis for a positive playing and learning environment that supports long-term player development and personal growth. The mission also states that the program strives to provide players with the highest quality soccer training and development in America. San Jose Rush is part of the largest youth soccer club in the world, with over 155 Rush clubs in 50 countries and 45,620 players, and a Rush presence in 50 countries on 6 different continents. The club invests in coach development and licensing pathways, and its coaches work with a USSF A Licensed coach and USSF Coach Educator, Carlos Schulze. San Jose Rush employs talented, full-time and part-time coaching staff with vast experience of the youth soccer landscape in the Bay Area and across the United States, and Carlos Schulze serves in the leadership team as a USSF A Licensed coach and USSF Coach Educator.

The program is connected to tournaments such as the California Rush Spring Cup, which offers U8–U19 boys and girls divisions with a 3 game guarantee. California Rush Cup 2026 is described as one of the largest and most competitive youth tournaments on the West Coast, including 400+ teams, multiple venues, and all levels and flights, including MLS NEXT, GA, ECNL, ECNL RL, NPL, and levels from Premier to Copper, Flight 1 to 4.
