Showtime Basketball is a year-round player development program that offers weekly training sessions, private training, small group sessions, and 1-on-1 sessions. The program also runs basketball camps and clinics, including free clinics for schools. In addition to training, the program organizes basketball shoe drives, clothing donations for the homeless, and local park clean-ups.

Showtime Basketball was established in 2017 as SHOWTIME BASKETBALL LLC. The program follows the H.E.L.D Standards of Hard Work, Energy, Leadership, and Discipline, and uses tiered training groups by skill and experience. Training is individualized and tailored to specific needs and development goals, with small group or 1-on-1 sessions that include detailed instruction, immediate feedback, and focused correction. The program offers a free 1-session evaluation, and the coaching staff collectively has over 50 years of experience in player development and coaching.

The leadership team includes Coach Derrick Nguyen (Founder and Director), Coach Anthony Gardner (Coach Ant) as Co-Director and Head Trainer, Coach Kimo (Kimano Plater) as Athletic Director, and coaches Jorge, Austin, Lam, and Ronmar. Coach Derrick Nguyen has over a decade of coaching experience at Caroline Davis Intermediate School and Oak Grove High School, is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer with professional experience at 24 Hour Fitness and BennettFit, and is a Licensed Skills Coach with Pure Sweat Basketball. Coach Kimo holds NASM-CPT and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certifications. The program’s listed credentials and certifications include ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, Licensed Skills Coach with Pure Sweat Basketball, NASM-CPT, and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). Coach Anthony Gardner has organized community service efforts such as free clinics for schools, basketball shoe drives, clothing donations for the homeless, and local park clean-ups.
