Studio 10 Dance offers classes in ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, breakdancing, yoga, and Rhythm Tap. The program also includes hip hop and breakdance classes that are part of one of San Jose’s longest running hip hop and breakdance programs.

Studio 10 Dance is woman owned and was established in 1989. Company 10 is a competitive performance team based out of Studio 10, with auditions scheduled on May 20 and May 22, 2025 for Mini Jazz, Tap, Jazz/Lyrical/Production, and Hip Hop groups within specific age ranges. The purpose of the Company 10 dance team is to foster the potential for excellence in young dancers through a well-balanced and consistent education in the art of dance, with the stated goal of creating strong, passionate, dedicated members and leaders of the greater community. Tap Explosion is under the direction of Ms. Gayle Greenbrook, who has studied with Lynn Dally, Gracey Tune, Sam Weber, and Eddie Brown, and Tap Explosion’s primary function is to preserve and promote the style and history of Rhythm Tap. The studio offers a free trial class for new students, and new families create an online account to request a trial class and manage their classes and account. Hospital-grade air purifiers are installed into the ventilation systems, HEPA air filters are in each dance room, and touch-surfaces and floors are cleaned and disinfected between classes throughout the week.
