Almaden Oaks Community Center Swim Lessons and Swim Club

Almaden Oaks Community Center Swim Lessons and Swim Club offers swim lessons, a non-competitive swim club led by the head lifeguard, and open swimming in a 1300 square foot L-shaped heated pool with a gradual depth transition from 2 1/2 ft to 9 ft and a roped off kids area. The program takes place at a membership based swim facility that also offers access to a wooden playground and play structure with a slide and full-size swing set, a hand built bocce court with provided balls, and a continuous lawn area slightly over a quarter acre in size with shade from the Almaden Oaks palm tree. Families can also take part in pool parties, board sponsored BBQs with s'mores and ice cream sundaes, candy bar bingo, cardboard boat races, and bocce.

Almaden Oaks Community Center was established in 1963 and operates as a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board of current members. The mission of Almaden Oaks Community Center is to provide an affordable, safe and family-focused swimming facility to the local community, with affordable membership rates to the local community. Red Cross certified lifeguards are on duty during open hours and monitor children in the pool. Members have access to a pool deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas, a second patio area with two gas barbecues and picnic tables, and two gas barbecues that are available to members on a first-come, first-serve basis, and members can host parties with exclusive use of the patio area and grills. Almaden Oaks Community Center is dedicated to serving the local community through a variety of programs.
