Swim Lessons and Swim Club includes swim lessons, a non-competitive swim club led by the head lifeguard, and open swimming. Children also take part in pool parties, board sponsored BBQs with s'mores and ice cream sundaes, candy bar bingo, cardboard boat races, and bocce. The program offers time on a wooden playground and play structure that includes a slide and a full-size swing set.

Almaden Oaks Community Center, which runs Swim Lessons and Swim Club, is a membership-based, non-profit organization run by a volunteer board of current members. The facility includes a 1300 square foot L-shaped heated swimming pool with a gradual depth transition from 2 1/2 ft to 9 ft and a roped off kids area, a pool deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas, a second patio area with two gas BBQs and picnic tables, a hand built bocce playing field, and a slightly over quarter acre continuous lawn area with shade under the Almaden Oaks palm tree. Red Cross certified lifeguards are on duty during open hours and monitor children. Almaden Oaks Community Center was established in 1963 and is dedicated to serving the local community through a variety of programs, with a mission to provide an affordable, safe and family-focused swimming facility to the local community.
