The Get Down Dance Programs offer kids classes in Mini Hip Hop Fusion and Kids Hip Hop Fusion. These classes draw from styles such as Salsa, Hustle, Capoeira, Hip Hop, Breaking, House, Waacking, Locking, and Popping. The program also includes an Adult Spring Session centered on street and social dance styles.
• Ages: 3–9 years old
• Schedule: 12-week Youth Short Term session from February 22 to May 24, with Mini Hip Hop Fusion (3–5 years old) on Sundays from 3:30–4:00 pm and Kids Hip Hop Fusion (6–9 years old) on Sundays from 4:00–5:00 pm; 12-week Adult Spring Session from March 2 to May 29
• Price: Youth Short Term session tuition: $312 + $35 Annual Registration Fee
The Get Down Dance Programs follow the motto “dance as a tool to build relationships,” and the mission statement describes dance as a way to connect, express, and inspire while building a community of dancers. The Get Down was voted “Best Dance Lessons” in the Best of Silicon Valley by The Metro, and the 9th Annual SPRING Showcase is scheduled for May 25, 2025. As the organization wraps up 2025, it is heading into 2026 as its 10th anniversary year. The program states that it is deeply passionate about keeping the social dance scene active and encourages its community to celebrate dancing together.
