The core mission of ROB SKATE ACADEMY is to teach mindfulness through skateboarding, while remaining accountable to safety measures and precautions. The ROB SKATE ACADEMY has been around since 2008 serving the San Francisco Bay Area and many other places across the US. Rob is an Olympic level trainer working with top athletes from around the globe prepping for the Olympics, and all other instructors are “ROB SKATE ACADEMY Certified,” meaning they went through a full training and safety course before being placed out on the field. The program is described as one of the most progressive and safest skateboarding schools in today's modern market and as a nationally recognized program that teaches skateboarding at an accelerated pace, with programs that promote safety, skill development, and mindfulness through skateboarding. Families describe the staff as professional, welcoming, patient, and encouraging, and mention that instructors teach in ways that make tricks achievable for students of different levels. Testimonials mention kids and adults learning to drop in on half pipes, ride roll-on rails, practice new tricks on quad skates, and attend a skate camp that goes to different skate parks around the Bay Area every day. Parents and skaters also note that sessions are easy to book, that pricing is reasonable, and that the space is clean, not crowded, and used by both beginners and more advanced “shredders.”
