About
San Leandro Public Library Youth Programs include activities such as LEGO Robotics, Family Learners Group, Intro to Generative AI, a Dragon Boat Calligraphy Workshop, Beginning Mandarin, Paws to Read, and Kid's Club: Lemonade Party. LEGO Robotics classes introduce children to building motorized LEGO creations, and the Intro to Generative AI course is a beginner-friendly class with hands-on activities to explore AI tools. The Dragon Boat Calligraphy Workshop celebrates the Dragon Boat Festival by teaching the meaning of scented sachets and guiding participants to write “平安,” while Beginning Mandarin for youth includes basic daily conversations, recognizing some Chinese characters, learning Chinese culture, making crafts, and singing songs.
