Montessori School of San Marcos offers Montessori activities in which children discover, explore, classify, organize, and develop skills in a prepared classroom environment. Montessori School of San Marcos is a family run business with more than 20 years of experience in the Montessori Method. Programs include infant care, beginner preschool for toddlers in their early development, and a preschool program that admits children between 8 weeks and 6 years of age. The infant program serves children from 8 weeks to 24 months in infant rooms, and each infant room welcomes children as young as 8 weeks of age. The infant environment is described as peaceful and loving, with teachers speaking in gentle tones and providing hugs, cuddles, talking, and listening, and each child in infant care is treated as an individual to be nurtured with affection and respect.
