Prolific Basketball offers club teams, camps, group training, private training, tryouts, 1-on-1 basketball training, group basketball training, lifting programs, sprinting programs, speed and agility work, jumping, psychology, injury risk reduction, recovery, and parental support. The program provides individual training programs and group training programs that include both basketball skills and physical preparation.

• Ages: 10–18 years old
• Schedule: Training is available for girls in grades 5 and 6 and 7 and 8, JV and Varsity, with sessions scheduled 2–4 times per week in 1–2 hour sessions; players in grades 7 and above can join club teams with training scheduled 3–5 times a week in two-hour sessions, and training sessions for club programs take place 4–5 times per week, with team practices at least twice a week and 3–5 practices each week, each lasting 2 hours.
• Price: Group Basketball Training is $25 per 2-hour session; 1-on-1 Basketball Training with Coach Tony Laguna is $45 per hour; group training with 5 to 10 players is $25 per session; club team training for players in grades 7 and above is $220 per month for training scheduled 3–5 times a week in two-hour sessions, and training sessions for club programs take place 4–5 times per week for $220 per month.

Prolific Basketball’s programs and training sessions are designed by Coach Tony Laguna, a Semi-Pro player and Assistant Varsity Coach at San Marcos High School, who has been a coach at San Marcos High School and Coastal Elite Basketball Club for more than 20 years and has been a skills coach since 2008. Tony Laguna is the founder of the Prolific Basketball girls’ AAU club and next level preparedness program and serves as Prolific Basketball Head Coach and Development Specialist / COO. His experience includes roles such as San Marcos High School Varsity Boys Associate Head Coach (2007–2025), San Marcos High School Varsity Girls Head Assistant (2022–2024), SMHS Freshman Boys Head Coach (2016–2017), SMHS Girls Varsity Associate Head Coach (2015–2016), Mission Hills Freshmen Interim Head Coach (2005–2006), and Mission Hills JV Assistant Coach (2005–2006), and many players he coached earned scholarships to Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA colleges and professional careers.

The program states a mission from Coach Tony that emphasizes daily hard work, honest communication, collective responsibility, and developing faith, trust, communication, gratitude, and collective responsibility so that athletes prepare and compete like champions in the classroom, the community, and on the court. Prolific Basketball training programs and camps are for middle and high school girls in Oceanside and welcome female students from all Oceanside middle and high schools, including Martin Luther King Jr. Middle, Cesar Chavez Middle, Jefferson Middle, Lincoln Middle, El Camino High School, Oceanside High School, Oceanside Unified School District Adult Transition Program, and Surfside Academy, as well as girls from nearby communities such as Vista, Escondido, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Poway, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Temecula. The program offers club teams that play in tournaments and leagues near Oceanside, and teams regularly participate in league games and tournaments.

Prolific Basketball notes that its training programs and camps are created to help young female athletes from all Oceanside middle and high schools develop individual and team skills, with a focus on technique and game psychology, physical preparation, injury risk reduction, faster recovery, and moral support. The San Marcos Knights girls' basketball team, associated with Tony Laguna’s coaching history, holds a league champion title (2012–2013) and has reached several state finals and playoffs since, and since 2010 the San Marcos Knights boys' basketball teams have been league champions and have won significant high school titles.
