Samba Futsal Club offers futsal training that includes drop-in classes, a free class option, and memberships for 1x or 2x per week training. The program uses futsal, a 5v5 indoor version of soccer played on a smaller court with a smaller, heavier ball.

Samba Futsal Club brings the joy, creativity, and discipline of Brazilian futsal to players in San Diego and was created to bring the Brazilian way of teaching futsal to kids in the area. Players are grouped by age and skill level. The club offers drop-in classes as single sessions and memberships for 1x or 2x per week training, which include a lower cost per class, consistent development, and access to special member discounts.
The leadership team includes Roberto Velloso (President & Founder), Roberta Goulart (Vice President & Executive Director), Bruno Conteville (Academy Director & DOC), Danilo Stefanelli (Competitive & Technical Director), Vitor Resende (Director of Development Programs), Paula Coutinho Toto (Manager of Team Managers), Tabata Viana (Director of Strategic Partnerships & Programs), and Mariana Venâncio (Director of Sponsorships & Brand Relations).
The club’s mission states that its year-round programs focus on development, confidence, and love for the game, not just results, with a purpose of development first. The mission also states that the program respects each phase of childhood and teaches with a clear methodology built around real touches on the ball, smart decisions, and a positive environment, and that Samba became a place where kids feel safe to learn, try, make mistakes, and grow.
