Gigamind Explorer Education offers Abacus Training, Mental Training, Speed Training, Listen-and-Calculate Training, Read-and-Calculate Training, and Montessori Early Mathematics. The program also includes creative-thinking workshop activities relating math and creativity, mathematics related to real-life through the use of interesting problems, games and fun activities, national mathematics competitions preparation, Mandarin Language & Culture, STEM Summer Camp, After-school Care, and a Creative Thinking Summer Camp that focuses on different kinds of creative thinking and logic skills in a structured and small size class. Students in the Creative Thinking Summer Camp learn through games and fun activities.

Gigamind Explorer Education is a nonprofit organization serving the education community, founded in 2011 by a group of professionals in the Education, Psychology and STEM fields. Its mission is to promote children's positive attitude and inspire their interest in learning math. The curriculum is designed according to the child’s growth and psychological development, and materials are created and modified based on a group of teachers’ years of professional teaching experience. The program’s Early Math program prepares young children to meet the kindergarten entrance expectations in math, and its Math Olympiad program explores branches of mathematics not conventionally covered at school and is designed to help students strengthen analytical skill and outside the box thinking in creative problem solving. Math Tests Prep aims to equip students with test taking skills and confidence and to enrich analytical and problem-solving skills and equip them to take math competitions.
Gigamind Explorer Education was founded by a group of professionals who respect and value every child's individual development and learning ability and believe that every student is unique but has the same ambition and curiosity to explore. To provide a personalized learning experience, effective and diverse teaching techniques are used to accommodate different learning styles, and educators encourage students to take initiative to explore their potential, reach new milestones, and achieve their learning goals. Educators at Gigamind Explorer Education have a special dedication to serving young learners of mathematics.
The educators are certificated instructors of Abacus Calculation with Two Hands and Mental Arithmetic Skill and Math Olympiad, and all instructors have teaching experiences (Pre-K–12) in the U.S. and other Asian countries. Gigamind has been promoting the abacus and math olympiad programs in the Bay Area and offering classes in different after-schools, and its centers are located in San Mateo County. It mainly serves students from San Mateo, Foster City, San Carlos, Belmont, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Burlingame, San Bruno, and South San Francisco, and also provides enrichment programs to after-schools in the Bay Area. Its programs have been experienced by more than 500 students in different schools.
One parent shared that a 5-year-old child had been attending for about half a year to gain a better sense of numbers and foster a love for math, and that the child understood how 10 ones equals 1 ten because of the abacus and enjoyed “playing” with numbers.
