Stanford Jazz Workshop Summer Programs offers Giant Steps Day Camp, Giant Steps Two-Week Session, Jazz Camp, Jazz Camp Two-Week Session, Jazz Institute, Advanced Two-Week Session, Giant Steps Big Band, and Miles Ahead Big Band. About the provider
Stanford Jazz Workshop was founded in 1972 and is a nonprofit organization dedicated to jazz education and appreciation. It is directed by Dave Gregoric, David Hart, and John Burn, and by Mike Galisatus and Kristen Strom. The program is described as acclaimed jazz immersion camps with world-class faculty and artists in residence. Stanford Jazz Festival presents world-class performances, and the same artists who teach in the programs also perform there.
