Myriad Music School and Dance Academy Summer Camps & Classes

Myriad Music School and Dance Academy Summer Camps & Classes offers music lessons, dance academy classes, art classes, summer camps, and summer classes. Students can take private music lessons and music classes such as piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, singing, violin, flute, and trumpet, as well as preschool music. Dance options include Twinkle Dance for ages 3–5, ballet, hip hop, K-pop, jazz, tap, contemporary dance, and AcroDance, and visual art classes include watercolor, air-dry clay, oil pastels, multi-medium collage, drawing, perspective, and form.

Myriad Music School and Dance Academy Summer Camps & Classes is a family-owned music and dance school with small-sized classes and camps and a small student to teacher ratio, taught by warm, experienced, and professional teaching artists. The program includes a quality visual arts program with small classes and offers programs for kids, teens, adults, and preschoolers, with registration available year-round while there is room in small-sized classes and camps. Summer Camp enrollment begins January 1st, and Summer 2026 registration opens January 1st.

The leadership team consists of owners Simone Bley and Keith Johns. Owner Simone Bley holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario in Theory & Composition with an emphasis in Piano Performance, a second Music Education Degree and Teaching Credential with an emphasis in Choral Conducting, and a Masters in Jazz Piano Pedagogy from Northwestern University. Owner Keith Johns studied trumpet performance and chamber brass music at UCSB and Northwestern University and completed a flight instructor qualification in 2009.

Myriad has a tradition of 27 years of quality and excellence in music instruction, dance education, and art education for Peninsula families, and the website footer states Myriad Music School and Dance Academy © 2020. The program serves Peninsula families in San Mateo, Burlingame, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood Shores, and surrounding areas.

Holiday music events include Candlelight Serenades Holiday Concerts and Candy Cane Lane Holiday Playing Parties, which feature a festive photo booth at all holiday music events. Dance students participate in the Enchanted in Wonderland dance production at the College of San Mateo’s Theater.
