Newton Center After School Care, Camps, and Enrichment Programs

Newton Center After School Care, Camps, and Enrichment Programs offers after school care programs, camps, and enrichment classes that include hands-on, engaging, and project-based activities. The program includes activities that extend learning beyond the classroom and are inspired by the children entrusted in their care.

Since 2001, Newton Center has provided the San Francisco Bay Area with educational after school care programs, camps, and enrichment classes. The program serves over 600 students enrolled in TK through 8th grade. Its mission is to offer a conscientious, productive, and fun environment to help the children of its communities build lasting friendships and form a lifetime habit of successful learning. Newton Center states that it is committed to serving all students and enrolls students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds through a robust financial assistance program. The program focuses on partnership and community, a diverse, equitable, and respectful environment, the social-emotional wellbeing of the students, and learning opportunities in every context. Many of the instructors hold degrees or have earned units in early childhood development and/or have years of experience in the field, and the team is described as enthusiastic and enjoying working with children. Newton Center works with Newton – the Children’s Learning Center to create and offer its programs.
