Ninja Republic is an indoor ninja gym described as the Bay Area’s premier ninja warrior gym and a state-of-the-art facility with over 6,000 square feet of ninja obstacles that range from easy to advanced to expert in a safe, indoor environment. It is the only gym on the peninsula that is 100% dedicated to ninja obstacles and offers an indoor ninja gym for fun, training, and competition, including a competition team composed of athletes who range from beginner to elite who compete in the Bay Area Ninja League (BANL), UNAA, and FINA. For camps, a morning snack is provided, and participants are asked to bring lunch and a water bottle, and single-day spots may be available by calling or emailing the week before.
The owner of Ninja Republic is Regan Fletcher, who played multiple sports as a kid, including baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and curling, played Division I hockey at Princeton University, and has spent the last two decades living and working in Silicon Valley. Ninja Republic states that it has no affiliation with American Ninja Warrior, Ninja WarriorTM, Sasuke, TBS Japan, or NBC.
Ninja Republic also hosts high-energy birthday parties, school fundraisers, team-building events, and seasonal ninja camps in a safe, indoor environment, and the space is used for field trips, large parties, scout outings, fitness badge programs, and fundraisers. For birthday parties, the birthday star gets VIP treatment with time to shine on the course, and groups rotate through obstacles, challenges, and games that build strength, confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fully supervised environment.
One parent, Doreen T., says that the owner, Regan, cares about safety, cleanliness, and encouraging kids to push at an appropriate level, and that he knows all the regulars. Another parent, Jonathan D., describes it as a great course for kids and adults, with tons of obstacles that challenge almost any adult and notes that for parties, families rent out the whole space. A third parent, Liliana M., says the owner is amazing, very involved, and interested in challenging the kids and understanding what they are doing, and describes the place as amazing.
