Enriching Lives through Music (ELM) offers chorus, orchestra, and chamber music, along with parent music groups. The program also runs a summer camp, a concert series, and a Summer Chamber Music Camp that focuses on small chamber music groups. For two weeks, students met every day to rehearse in these small chamber music groups.

ELM began as a pilot project in 2008. Its mission is to provide youth with an immersive music education and resources that inspire and empower them to pursue their dreams. ELM is a full scholarship, multi-year, intensive program that provides music education, ensemble, and performance opportunities to youth, and there are no financial barriers to participation. ELM runs a summer camp, concert series, and provides scholarships for private lessons for exceptionally motivated students. ELM addresses an equity gap by providing full scholarships and academic support to students for their entire childhood and is committed to accessibility and is ADA compliant. The Executive Director is Jane Kramer, Ph.D. ELM was voted as one of the best in Marin County for educational nonprofits. ELM serves primarily Latino children and families who live in and attend school in the Canal neighborhood of San Rafael and partnered with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra to co-host their second annual Summer Chamber Music Camp.
