U.S. Baseball Academy

U.S. Baseball Academy offers instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning, and, in winter, catching. Camp days include morning instruction focused on hitting and defense, followed by afternoon sessions with situational baseball games, competition drills, and a Wiffle Ball World Series that includes prizes for winners. All participants receive a t-shirt and a camp certificate, and players of all ability levels take part in specific skill instruction and drill work with drill progressions focused on developing good habits while improving overall baseball skills.

Over the last 10 years, U.S. Baseball Academy has served more than a quarter million players as part of what it describes as the country’s largest network of baseball camps. The program is developed by a national coaching and advisory staff that includes Major League players Adam Eaton, Travis Shaw, and Craig Stammen, and each location uses a teaching staff of coaches from the local area. At U.S. Baseball Academy Spring Training, players receive instruction from some of the area’s top high school and college coaches in a low player-coach ratio, small-group atmosphere, with consistent programming across all locations. Each camp offers sessions that cover pitching instruction, hitting instruction, catching instruction in winter, fielding instruction, and baserunning instruction, and the Summer Training Program focuses on development in hitting, pitching, and fielding in a fun-filled environment.

The organization states that its mission is to help young players develop solid fundamentals and learn proper techniques at a young age. U.S. Baseball Academy describes itself as a national program with a local touch, and its leadership team includes Senior Vice President Joe Marker, Director of Marketing & Operations Jeffery Lee, Camp Success Team Manager Cody Nelson, and Assistant Camp Success Team Manager Andrea Jolly.
