About
WildCare Wildlife Camp offers week-long nature-based camps for children during Summer, Winter, and Spring. These camps take place at WildCare, an organization that has been helping people live well with wildlife since 1974. The program is part of WildCare’s broader work, which includes treating sick or injured animals, teaching people how to live peacefully with wildlife, and advocating for better protection of wildlife and remaining open spaces.
• Schedule: Week-long nature-based camp sessions offered in Summer, Winter, and Spring
WildCare’s work is supported by dedicated volunteers who help in the Wildlife Hospital and in many other roles. One participant described first encountering WildCare while rescuing an injured bird and noted the kindness they experienced, later choosing to volunteer and teach children and adults about wildlife. WildCare has also been recognized through WildCare’s One Earth Young Filmmakers Grant, after being designated as the grant recipient by the filmmaker of the winning entry in the 2025 One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest.
