The Dancer's Institute

The Dancer's Institute offers Pre-Dance Ballet, Jazz & Tap Combo Class for ages 2.5-6 years. It also offers Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Strength and Conditioning, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, private lessons, and adult classes. Ballet Level 1 and Level 1.5 meet once a week for 1.5 hours, and Ballet Level 2 and up meet twice a week for 1.5 hours each class.

• Ballet classes — $81–$122 per month · Ballet Level 1 and Level 1.5 are once a week for 1.5 hours. Ballet Level 2 and up meet twice a week for 1.5 hours each class.

• Hip Hop classes — $81 per month

About the provider

The Dancer's Institute is a new dance school serving the San Ramon Valley area. Lacey Price is the Artistic Director and Owner, and Tiffany Davis is the Lead Teacher. The mission statement says the school strives to bring proper technique to students in a firm but friendly environment and to foster the passion to move in a dancer. Classes begin August 17th, and Level 1 classes start at age 6. Contemporary and Strength and Conditioning start at age 8 unless otherwise approved, all classes after Level 1 must be approved by the artistic director by audition, and Pre-Pointe and Pointe must have director approval.

• Private lessons — $150–$450 per month · Typically 30 minutes once a week; 45 minute and 1 hour sessions are also offered.
• Adult classes — $81–$112 per month · Adult Ballet is an hour and a half long and is $112.00 a month. All other Adult classes are $81 a month.

Age and time spent dancing does not always equal level. This will also ensure that the dancer gets the proper technique and avoids injury. Competition Team Classes are offered. Dress code items will be for sale in the store when the permanent location opens. The studio will be closed for listed holidays and breaks.
