Golf Lab Academy offers individual golf lessons, group golf lessons, and swing and putting instruction. The program also provides swing analysis and club analysis using advanced technology. In addition, it offers corporate and private event rental services in a private golf instruction setting.

Founded in 2001, Golf Lab Academy began in 2000 in the city of Costa Mesa as a small golf studio, moved into the Roger Dunn Santa Ana store in 2013, and relocated to a larger facility in 2016. The studio is a 1,500-square-foot indoor space with a full screen hitting area, a full bar with multiple flat screens, and a 19th Hole space referenced for Orange County Golf Lessons 19th Hole. It is a private golf instruction facility that is described as extremely private for one-on-one teaching experiences and can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 16 people.
The Golf Lab Academy utilizes high-speed cameras, Foresight GC2 Launch Monitor, and V1 Sports Swing Analyzer software, including slow-motion replay, analysis, and correction of swings, as part of its advanced swing analysis technology. V1 Sports Swing Analyzer software has been awarded the Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Award twice. The program offers 90-Day Training Packages to establish a clear roadmap for improvement and uses high-speed cameras to capture a variety of shots and angles.

Eric Woods is the Founder, and John Burckle is the Director of Instruction and an instructor. Eric Woods is a former touring professional who spent a decade competing internationally across the Asian, Australian, Canadian, Mexican, South American, and South African Tours, was the first American to capture the South American Tour money title in 1992, and won back-to-back Canadian Tour money titles in 1993 and 1994. The instructors at the studio have more than sixty years of combined teaching experience.
