Golf Lab Academy offers golf lessons that include private golf lessons, group golf lessons, swing analysis, and putting instruction. The program also provides corporate and private event rental services and a 30-Minute Summer Tune-Up Special focused golf swing lesson.

Golf Lab Academy was founded in 2001, with its origins in a small indoor video lesson studio started by founder Eric Woods in Costa Mesa, California in 2000, and later moves to larger facilities in 2013 and 2016. The academy’s mission is to provide an ideal learning environment where instructors can clearly explain the fundamentals of the golf swing and how those fundamentals influence performance. The leadership team includes founder Eric Woods and Director of Instruction John Burckle.
The instructors at the studio have more than sixty years of combined teaching experience. Director of Instruction John Burckle has over 25 years of experience teaching golfers of all skill levels, 80 professional wins, and six Golden State Tour top money winner titles. Eric Woods is a former touring professional who spent a decade competing internationally across the Asian, Australian, Canadian, Mexican, South American, and South African Tours, was the first American to capture the South American Tour money title in 1992, and won back-to-back Canadian Tour money titles in 1993 and 1994. Eric Woods has spent nearly four decades helping players through video golf instruction and introduced video lessons in 1987.
Golf Lab Academy is a private golf instruction facility with a 1,500 square foot indoor studio, a full screen hitting area, and a full bar with multiple flat screens. The studio uses high-speed video cameras for slow-motion replay, analysis, and correction, as well as the Foresight GC2 Launch Monitor and V1 Sports Swing Analyzer software. The environment is described as fun and relaxing, is extremely private for one-on-one teaching experiences, and can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 16 people. The academy offers 90-Day Training Packages to establish a clear roadmap and a 30-Minute Summer Tune-Up Special. The V1 Sports Swing Analyzer software used by the academy has been awarded the Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Award twice.
