Healthy Beginnings offers monthly one-on-one visits beginning in pregnancy and continuing through a baby’s first year. The program includes prenatal education and support, prenatal classes on child development, lactation, and childbirth education, postpartum education and support, lactation support, mental health support, and postpartum support visits for mental health, breastfeeding, or other concerns. Services are offered in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

- Prenatal Education & Support — Pregnancy · Monthly visits during pregnancy · Focuses on physical and mental health, health access and navigation, community resources, birth and postpartum preparation.
- Prenatal Classes — Pregnancy · Classes on child development, lactation, and childbirth education; offered through the Health Education page.
- Postpartum Education & Support — After delivery through postpartum recovery · Includes postpartum assessment, home safety and injury prevention, mental health screenings, pediatrician support, child development assessments, and oral health education.
- Lactation Support — Postpartum · One-on-one consults or monthly support group.
- Mental Health Support — Postpartum · Meet with a licensed bilingual therapist in-person or virtually, or attend a postpartum support group.
- Postpartum Support Visits — Clients enrolled in the Healthy Beginnings program · Extended home visits for mental health, breastfeeding, or other concerns; typically last 2-4 hours.

About the provider
For over 30 years, MOMS has provided comprehensive perinatal health education and promotion, case management, and health system navigation to the Orange County community. Its mission is to help mothers and their families have healthy babies by providing health coordination, education, and access to community services. MOMS also surrounds expecting families with a community of support and provides resources and referrals to community partners.
There is no cost to participate in the Healthy Beginnings program or health education classes. Services are offered in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
