Heritage Museum of Orange County Educational Programs and Tours offers the Kellogg House In-Person Field Trip for 1st-3rd grade, the Gold Rush In-Person Field Trip for 4th-6th grade, and the Gospel Swamp Farm: A Walk Through Time Field Trip. The Gold Rush field trip includes purchasing supplies, panning for souvenir gold, and traveling on the Oregon Trail, and it has a blacksmith demonstration add-on. The Gospel Swamp Farm field trip includes grinding corn meal, germinating beans, and identifying native plants.

• Gold Rush In-Person Field Trip — Recommended for 4th-6th grade · $22–$24 per session · Hands-on field trip with activities such as purchasing supplies, panning for souvenir gold, and traveling on the Oregon Trail. Minimum 25 students. Add-on available: Blacksmith demonstration.
• Gospel Swamp Farm: A Walk Through Time Field Trip — $22–$24 per session · Interactive, hands-on tour with activities such as grinding corn meal, germinating beans, and identifying native plants. Minimum 25 students.
• Kellogg House Virtual Tour — $0–$400 · FREE with in-person field trip booking, or $400 for 3 weeks of access for your whole school.

For almost 40 years, Heritage Museum of Orange County has provided hands-on educational field trips, programs, and experiences for students of all ages. Its mission is to preserve, promote, and restore the heritage of Orange County and the surrounding region through hands-on educational programs, living history exhibits, and environmental stewardship opportunities for students and visitors of all ages. The museum also provides educational offerings for public schools, private, charter and home school groups, scouting organizations, summer camp attendees, adult and senior clubs, and more.

Programs are created to complement and enhance classroom lessons and align with Common Core and California Content Standards. Pricing and reservation request forms are available through the Programs Reservation department. Contact is available by phone or email.
