Relámpago del Cielo Grupo Folklórico offers folkloric dance lessons and folklórico classes. The program includes live cultural performances and family-friendly arts and heritage activities that are supported by sponsorships. During each performance, dancers “bring the thunder” to audiences with intricate steps, radiant smiles, and brilliant colors that connect to traditions of the folkloric dance of Mexico.

Relámpago del Cielo Grupo Folklórico is celebrating 50 years, and this year marks 50 years of preserving Mexican culture and serving the community through dance. The program states that it celebrates five decades of preserving Mexican traditions and remaining true to its mission of spreading culture within the community. There will be a year-long celebration honoring 50 years of Relámpago del Cielo Grupo Folklórico’s cultural impact. One parent shares, “RDC has given my family a chance to really celebrate the vibrant Mexican culture through ballet folklorico.”
