About
Artstudio 4 Kids offers art camps, art classes, private event paint parties, private group sessions where families can make their own group, private art parties for kids or adults, and family art workshops. The program also runs weeklong summer art camps and weeklong winter art camps where children work with media such as tempera paint, acrylic paint, watercolors, oil pastels, chalk, collage, mixed media, paper mache, and air dry clay.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Fall, Winter, and Spring after-school and morning sessions for grades K–2 and 3–7; Summer 2026 includes 6 week-long art camps
Since 2016, owner Geraldine Otte has run Artstudio 4 Kids as an afterschool and weeklong camp program for kids. She is a former art teacher at Vieja Valley Elementary School and previously worked for 13 years as a fabric and print stylist in the fashion industry, directing studios in major companies in New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Geraldine states, “I believe every child should have the opportunity to explore their creativity through art. My classes are designed to be fun and engaging while providing children with a solid foundation in art techniques and skills. The studio's curriculum focuses on media exploration, learning techniques, and engaging subject matter.” A parent testimonial from Michele Voigt notes that her two daughters have attended several of Geraldine’s holiday and summer art camps, describes the days as filled with activities and fun, and recommends the camps and enrichment programs.
