Goleta Valley South Little League

Goleta Valley South Little League offers youth baseball with multiple levels of play, including T-Ball, coach pitch, machine pitch, and player pitch divisions. The program organizes players into divisions such as T-Ball/Coach Pitch, Mini-minors, Minors, Majors, Juniors, and Intermediates based on league age and pitching format.

• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Spring season registration begins in November, with player evaluations in January, teams and practices starting in February, games beginning on Opening Day in March, and the season ending before Memorial Day; All Star tryouts and team formation for ages 9–14 take place in June; Fall Baseball registration begins in August, the Fall season starts in September with games on Sundays only, and ends before Halloween.
• Price: If a parent manages a team, there is a $200 equipment fee deposit that is refunded if all equipment is returned at the end of the season.

Goleta Valley South Little League started in 1968. The league has five divisions depending on the league age of the child, including T-Ball/Coach Pitch for ages 4–6, Mini-minors for ages 7–8 with machine pitching, Minors for ages 9–10 with player pitch, Majors for ages 11–12 with player pitch, and Juniors for ages 13–14 with player pitch, along with an Intermediates division for 13-year-olds with player pitch. The league states that it believes in the power of youth baseball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. It is a 100% volunteer organization and is described as the largest and most successful Little League in its District on the Central Coast. The league offers YouTube Live 4K streams of games with audio disabled on all video streams for privacy.
