DIMITAR Tennis & Pickleball Academy offers tennis and pickleball through private lessons, clinics, group lessons, junior development, and performance training. The program also includes intensive training programs that cover match strategy and tactics, fitness, and the mental game, with options for private tennis lessons and skill-based group training in social and competitive formats.

The academy is led by Academy Director Dimitar Yazadzhiev and Head Coach Vasyl Yazadzhiev. Dimitar Yazadzhiev has over 35 years of coaching experience, including 10 years as Tennis Director at WEIL Tennis Academy and more than 16 years leading his own academy. His background includes representing Bulgaria as a National Player in the 50+ division and competing twice at the European Pickleball Championships in England and Italy. He also has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working in luxury hotels and resorts. Dimitar’s stated mission is to help athletes of all ages and skill levels train smarter, compete stronger, and enjoy the game more fully, in an atmosphere that is both welcoming and challenging.
DIMITAR Tennis & Pickleball Academy serves players across the Central Coast, including Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta, Summerland, and surrounding areas, as well as communities such as Goleta, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Solvang, Carpinteria, Ventura, and Ojai. Training is available for locals, seasonal residents, and visitors, with the option for personalized one-on-one coaching on a player’s home court. The academy offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced training packages, multi-lesson packages, and group training options, with a focus on personalized one-on-one instruction and immersive training programs that blend technical work, strategy, fitness, and mental toughness.
