Science Smart Kids Inc. / Camp Captivate offers Camp Captivate summer day camps and S.T.E.A.M. workshops that include hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. The program also runs corporate “take your kid to work day” events, as well as workshops and special events for organizations and schools, including Innovate Public Schools, Santa Clara Unified School District, San Jose Public Libraries, and Santa Clara Public Libraries.

Camp Captivate is a program of Science Smart Kids Inc., led by CEO Ildiko Stennis. The mission of Camp Captivate is to provide quality, hands-on, differentiated S.T.E.A.M. summer day camps that engage children ages 5–13. The program offers age-differentiated programming, both virtual and in-person, and focuses on the development of 21st century skills, with hands-on learning as the core of the programming. The learning environment is facilitated by exceptional teachers and staff and uses quality materials.
Science Smart Kids Inc. has been in operation from 2012 to 2026. The organization is a sponsor of the 2021 Santa Clara Unified STEAM EXPO and a corporate partner with San Jose Public Libraries and Innovate Public Schools.
