Citadel Combat Academy offers Beginner/All Level Krav Maga classes, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, and Krav HIIT. The program includes an Adults Program, a Teens program, and a Kids Program. Families can book a free trial or try 10 days of free Beginner/All Level Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes.

• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Saturday at various times between morning and evening hours.
Citadel Combat Academy is an authorized American Krav Maga Federation (AKMF) school, and its stylized shield emblem pays homage to the Krav Maga Kuf-Mem emblem, with a star representing the American Krav Maga Federation and a bear and colors representing California. The academy is run by Owner and Chief Instructor John Veverka, who holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga with the American Krav Maga Federation under Mr. Mark Cox and with the Authentic Israeli Krav Maga Academy under Grand Master Danny Hazan. The leadership team also includes Keilan Matthews (Krav Maga & BJJ Instructor), Rod (BJJ Instructor), Eric Burgos (Krav Maga & BJJ Instructor), and JP (Krav Maga Instructor & Sales). John Veverka’s background includes Marine Corps service starting in 2002 with the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, deployments in Operation Iraqi Freedom (I/II/III), Operation Enduring Freedom, and other operations from 2003–2006, and extensive Krav Maga, edged weapons, pistol, knife, gun, and kids instructor training credentials through the American Krav Maga Federation. He has also completed the Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) and multiple military courses, fought in multiple Dog Brothers Gatherings with tribal ascension to “Dog,” and holds a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Sergio Machado. Starter Programs at Citadel Combat Academy are non-refundable once started. For classes, recommended items include appropriate gym attire, a gym towel, and a water bottle, and shoes are not permitted on the mats but are requested off the mats and when moving around the facility.
