Extended Day Escapes Camps

Extended Day Escapes Camps includes gymnastics training on beam, bars, vault, and floor, along with time on the Ninja Rig, tumble trak, rod floor, and trampolines. Camp days also feature agility games, fort making, rope climbing, daily crafts, movies, open play, and general gymnastics. Each week ends with an End of Week Show where campers present an end of week routine.

• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Weekly extended day escapes from mid-June to early August, including summer break camp sessions from 6/16–8/7
• Price: $87.50 per day Tuesday–Friday from 10:00–2:00pm

Extended Day Escapes Camps take place in a 15,000 square foot gymnastics facility that includes a 20 x 20 foot Ninja Rig. Students do not need gymnastics experience to participate, and it is not necessary to be a Gymnastics Unlimited student. The program features a Famous End of Week Show every Friday. Gymnasts must bring a lunch and a water bottle, payment is due at the time of enrollment, there are no refunds once registered, and transfers to other open sessions are allowed based on availability if notified one week prior.

Gymnastics Unlimited was originally founded in 1977 and has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley for over 41 years. Since 1984, the gym was owned and operated by Carol and Gabi Stabisevschi, and in November 2005 they sold the business to Shelbyco, Inc. The gym has coached both gold medalists Nadia Comaneci and Mary Lou Retton. Gymnastics Unlimited describes its mission as providing a safe, fun and positive environment while promoting creativity, fitness and inspiring students to achieve their goals, and states that this will enrich the lives of students and the community through excellence in gymnastics. The gym notes that it is the oldest gym in the Santa Clarita Valley and that its Extended Day Escapes are award winning camps. Gymnastics Unlimited is now accepting Charter School vouchers for Peak, Gorman, Sky Mountain and Sage Oak.
