- General schedule: Programs are offered in the fall, winter, and spring. The recreational program currently operates in fall and in winter as futsal. The Fall 2026 Recreation Season will begin at the end of August with the first games after Labor Day and runs approximately 10 weeks. Teams practice 1-2 times per week and play one game per weekend.

Santa Cruz City Soccer Club was established in 1982. It is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organization that offers competitive and recreational soccer leagues and teams, and it works to keep registration costs low so programming is accessible to community members and their children. The club depends on volunteer coaches, offers financial assistance and a scholarship program, and sponsors can support teams and the club.
Registration fees alone do not cover all the club's costs. The club cannot field more teams than it has coaches for. 2026 Fall Recreation Registration is closed. Players are grouped into divisions based on age.
