Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast – Atascadero Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast – Atascadero Club offers safe, educational, and fun programs for local youth. The program includes afterschool child development programming with adults who mentor and tutor members, and it provides healthy daily snacks. Programs focus on three main areas: Education, Character, and Health, and offer safe, inclusive spaces and experiences that support members’ learning and growth. The organization continually updates and changes its safety policies, programs, and training for staff and volunteers.

Since the first doors opened in 1966, Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast has provided programs for local youth. The organization expanded programming in 2023 to include service to children enrolled in TK/Kindergarten programs. It serves members in the communities of Santa Maria, Guadalupe, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Creston, and Shandon. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast is to provide places where kids can go after school and during the summer to grow beyond the classroom, promoting safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all youth and teens of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion in reaching their full potential.
