Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast offers Educational Program, The Arts, Health & Wellness, Leadership & Service, and Sports & Recreation. It also offers Money Matters, CareerLaunch, Stollmeyer STEAM Challenge, Keystone Club, Youth of the Year, and Torch Club.

• Stollmeyer STEAM Challenge — 7th-12th grade · 6-workshop series offered seasonally 4 times per year at Railroad and Flamson Clubs; includes Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math and career exploration.
• Keystone Club — 14-18 · Focuses on character and leadership qualities; areas include community service, academic success, career preparation and teen outreach.
• Youth of the Year — Leadership program honoring young people and their achievements in leadership, service, academic excellence and healthy lifestyles.
• Torch Club — 10-13 · Focuses on youth leadership and service; members participate in service experiences and projects.

About the provider

The program has served youth since 1966. It serves members in Santa Maria, Guadalupe, Paso Robles, and Shandon, and it has expanded to two counties and 13 Clubs, with more than 5,000 registered youth members; outreach reaches an additional 4,000 local children each year. Its mission statement says, "Every kid deserves a place. A place to feel safe. A place to feel connected. A place to belong."

Provides safe, educational and fun programs for local youth. Supports all youth and teens of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion. Programs are designed to achieve priority outcomes for lifetime success in Education, Character and Health.
