CKD Academy of Martial Arts

CKD Academy of Martial Arts offers Traditional Martial Arts, Keichu-Do, Private Lessons, Mighty Warriors, Lil Warriors, and Strictly Self-Defense. Mighty Warriors is for ages 5-7, and Lil Warriors is for ages 3-5. Keichu-Do is listed for all ranks and ages, with some classes for adults and teens, and Strictly Self-Defense is by appointment.

About the provider

CKD Academy of Martial Arts started in 2007. It is owned and operated by Sensei Travis Christensen and Sensei Heather Christensen. They are described as a brother-sister team of martial artists with over thirty years of combined teaching experience. The academy says it is devoted to training students to achieve their best in martial arts and in life, and it states that martial arts teaches respect, discipline, confidence, honesty, courage, and humility.

Students are required to demonstrate proper and proficient techniques before being promoted to their next rank. Free trial class is mentioned. Classes are available Monday-Friday.
