Santa Maria Girls Soccer League offers an introduction to soccer for younger girls, skill-building and teamwork activities, and competitive matches that focus on confidence and technique. The program also includes competitive soccer with tactical development and team play at a higher level for older girls.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
The league includes Girls U-6 with an introduction to soccer for girls ages 3–5 that focuses on fun, fundamentals, and a love for the game. Girls U-8 offers skill-building and teamwork for girls ages 6–7 while they learn the basics in a supportive environment. Girls U-10 develops players ages 8–9 through competitive yet fun matches that build confidence and technique. Girls U-13 provides competitive soccer for girls ages 10–12 with tactical development and team play at a higher level.
The Santa Maria Veterans Soccer Association, which the league is part of, has been a cornerstone of the Santa Maria community since 2025. Its mission is serving the community through the beautiful game and bringing veterans together on the field since 2025. The leadership team includes Juan Carlos Navarro as League President, Jasmine Navarro as Secretary, and Mirna Navarro as Treasurer.
