Wizards Magic Camp is led by Teacher James Lantiegne and Teacher Joshua Lantiegne. The organization behind the program was founded in 2012. Its mission is to empower lives through the arts by creating an inclusive, accessible space where individuals of all backgrounds can learn, experience, and express themselves regardless of race, creed, or financial status, and to bring the transformative power of the arts to those who need it most through education, mentorship, and community engagement. It is a 501(c)3 charitable organization supporting the arts to all those who seek it and describes itself as 100% community-based, with a belief that everyone has the right to self-expression and their own voice.
Unique features of Wizards Magic Camp include a students’ private room, escape “challenge” rooms that help raise money for scholarships and art programs, and a focus on making the arts accessible to all those that seek it. One testimonial from The House of MAGIC Foundation states that the staff is “amazing,” the entertainment is “amazing,” the venue is intimate, and the classes are a lot of fun. Another testimonial from The House of MAGIC Foundation notes that the program offers magic, escapes, shows, and more, and describes it as worth the trip.
