Children’s Museum of Sonoma County Programs and Camps

Children’s Museum of Sonoma County Programs and Camps include hands-on activities such as Air Cannons, AirMazing, the Apple Tree House & Pulley System, the Bernoulli Blower, and Build the Future. Children can also explore exhibits and activities like Butterfly Lifecycle, Cara’s Kaleidoscope, Dino Dental Clinic, the Dow Event Center, Ella’s Art Studio, Fairy World, and the Family Resource Center. The Museum-on-the-Go (MOG) program is part of Children’s Museum of Sonoma County Programs and Camps and brings these types of experiences into the greater community.

The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County provides hands-on, interactive exhibits and activities in a safe environment that are custom designed for families with children aged ten years old and younger. Its experiential exhibits emphasize hands-on engagement and learning through play with a focus on art, nature, and science. The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County was founded in 2005 and opened its doors in 2014.

The mission of the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County is to inspire curiosity and creativity through joyful, transformative experiences. The Museum-on-the-Go (MOG) program delivers playful transformative experiences to the greater Sonoma County area and brings programming to children who may not otherwise get the opportunity to participate. The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County is a nonprofit organization that each year supports many local nonprofit organizations and schools by donating tickets to assist in fundraising efforts. Unique features include Member Mornings with exclusive access to the Museum for the first hour on Sunday and Monday mornings, and a planned major expansion that will double the footprint of indoor space, opening in 2028.
