ConnectED After-School Tech Programs and Camps

ConnectED After-School Tech Programs and Camps offers activities such as Beat-Making 101, Youtuber Camp, Minecraft Coding, Digital Art and Animation, Minecraft Modding (Beginner and Intermediate), Digital Art (Beginner), and separate Music Production, Video Production, and Video Editing classes for ages 8–12 and 13–18. The program uses computers for hands-on projects in music production, video editing, digital art, animation, and game design.

• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer camps run in 5-day sessions from 9:00AM–1:00PM, with after-school options Monday–Friday including afternoon and evening recreation times and two class blocks.
• Price: $400 per camp session for Beat-Making 101, Youtuber Camp, Minecraft Coding, and Digital Art and Animation.

ConnectED is described as an after-school computer lab and creative tech space focused on tech literacy, gaming, and community. The mission of ConnectED is to enhance tech literacy among students by offering a dynamic space where they can learn, play, and grow in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that emphasizes collaboration, access to educational resources, learning, creativity, and innovation. ConnectED is owned and managed by Matt Bailey, who holds a degree in Music Composition and Technology from Sonoma State University and has experience as a program director, counselor, General Manager, and Music Director in various music and camp settings, as well as experience running YouTube channels and social media accounts. ConnectED is a Registered Heartwood Vendor and offers camps in partnership with TRUE FILM WEST Center for families located in Healdsburg. Families can schedule a free trial to visit during recreation time or audit a class at no cost.
