Italian Kids Culinary Arts Summer Series
1305 Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401
About
Italian Kids Culinary Arts Summer Series includes culinary arts and arts and crafts activities. Children prepare and cook homemade pasta with marinara sauce, antipasto, pesto with peas over pasta, biscotti cookies, pizza, and Italian soda made from fresh fruit syrup. Each day also includes checking in and greeting each other in Italian, a main culinary class, a Mangiamo (We eat!) time, and a cup of gelato.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday August 3rd–Thursday August 6th, 1–4 pm
• Price: $395 per child per week; 10% discount for each additional sibling
The program is guided by a professional chef instructor. Italian language, along with arts and crafts, is incorporated throughout the week. Families who also plan on sending children to La Piccola Scuola camp next door are asked if they would like staff to pick them up from there and walk them over to this camp. Registration is now open, registration fees are due to secure a child’s spot, and a 50% refund is available up to two weeks before the first day, with no refunds after that date. Children must be potty trained, bring their own water bottle each day, wear closed-toe comfortable shoes, and have a way to pull back long hair while cooking.
