Flying Angels Gymnastics

Flying Angels Gymnastics offers gymnastics and movement education that includes skills such as cartwheels, rolls, balance, swinging, going upside-down, obstacle courses, and fitness stations. The program also offers a Creative Dance class, ballet, and a gymnastics class for kids with special needs called “Jump to Success.”

Flying Angels Gymnastics joins experienced gymnastics instructors with local schools, preschools, daycare centers, and elementary schools. The company offers Flying Angels Gymnastics birthday parties and Flying Angels Gymnastics field trips to preschools or elementary schools. Flying Angels Gymnastics brings physical education into schools, preschools, and daycare centers throughout the North Bay and has programs throughout Marin and Sonoma Counties, with instructors teaching classes in over 25 schools in the North Bay. The program uses proven learning steps and innovative “brain challenges” in small classes that use specialized equipment, and classes are held at school so parents drive less, pay less, and stress less.

Founder Steve Sassone has been a professional instructor since 1981 and is Kinder-Accredited and Safety Certified through USA Gymnastics. Steve Sassone is the founder of Flying Angels Gymnastics, a former Manager and Preschool Director for Redwood Empire Gymnastics in Petaluma, and Director of the Northbay office of Kidpower. Nancy Rush is the Director of Pre School Gymnastics at Rohnert Park Gymnastics and has been a choreographer for five Young Rep shows at Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma since 2009. Jenny Martinez, Coach Jen, is listed as a coach with the program.
