About
HAPPY TALK: CAREGIVER-AND-ME LANGUAGE ENRICHMENT CLASSES . Happy Talk classes are joyful, connection-focused music and language enrichment groups for children ages 5 months – 3 years and their grown-ups. Led by a licensed pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), these classes turn everyday play into meaningful communication practice. . We believe that children learn best through connection. Our curriculum moves away from "teaching" babies to talk and toward empowering caregivers with professional strategies to foster language development through natural, daily routines. . WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK: . ✨ EXPERT-LED PLAY: Simple musical activities and movement designed by an SLP to spark engagement. . 🤟 ASL INTEGRATION: Introduction to American Sign Language signs you can use at home immediately. . 🌱 DEVELOPMENTAL PACING: Thoughtfully structured sessions that offer plenty of flexibility for feeding, movement, and rest—exactly where your child is today. . 🤍 CAREGIVER SUPPORT: A welcoming space to observe, learn, and build community with other local families. . WHY CHOOSE HAPPY TALK? . Happy Talk is for fun and developmental growth. You’ll leave each session with: . 💡 CONFIDENCE: A deeper understanding of how to support your child’s communication development. . 🛠️ PRACTICAL TOOLS: Small, science-backed shifts you can weave into bath time, mealtime, play, etc. . 🤝 COMMUNITY: A supportive village of parents and caregivers in the same stage of life. . Join our upcoming 8-week cohort to slow down, tune in, and celebrate the many ways your child is already communicating. . Spaces are limited to keep group sizes small. View schedules and register today at: www.wonderlandspeechandlanguage.com. . Classes will be held at the Children's Museum of Sonoma County. This program is independently operated by Wonderland Speech & Language and is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by the Children's Museum of Sonoma County.
