BVGC Junior Linksters Golf Academy

BVGC Junior Linksters Golf Academy offers private lessons, group classes, summer camps, and competitive play options for juniors. Program options include Junior Golf 365, PGA Junior League, 9-hole matches, Junior Golf Camp, Active Start, and PGA Family Golf.

• Ages: 4–17 years old
• Schedule: Junior Golf 365 classes meet after school and on weekends on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and PGA Family Golf meets on Tuesday and Saturday.

The BVGC Junior Linksters Golf Academy puts a special emphasis on junior golf instruction and adds group aspects to an individual sport to create a sense of community for participants. The BVGC Academy subscribes to the American Development Model. The program’s Junior Golf 365 and related activities are led by a PGA Director of Instruction. Bennett Valley participates in the 13 & Under, Redwood Empire PGA Junior League, and its team is open to boys and girls 6–13 years old with no previous golf experience required. In this program, 9-hole matches take place over the summer in a 2-player scramble format. Juniors aged 4–6 in the Active Start option learn golf fundamentals and become better movers. PGA Family Golf is a class designed to get the whole family playing golf, and juniors in this option are ages 4–17. The summer camps focus on golf fundamentals while giving kids an opportunity to “Play” and be athletes. The love for golf shared by the BVGC team keeps kids engaged and having fun.
