NorCal Fighting Alliance Kids is led by owner and jiu jitsu instructor David Terrell, a Cesar Gracie black belt. David Terrell is described as the first UFC fighter to open a martial arts gym in Northern California, and over 6 martial artists from his training have reached the UFC level. For over 15 years, David Terrell and NorCal Fighting Alliance have focused on teaching MMA in a way that is welcoming, safe, and easy for new students, especially those with no previous experience. The program is part of a gym that offers specialized programs for the entire family, including NCFA jiu jitsu KIDS (ages 3–12), NCFA Kickboxing kids (ages 6–12), NCFA Wrestling kids (ages 6–12), NCFA WOMEN for ladies only, Beginner Jiu jitsu for beginner adults, and an Advanced grappling class for advanced adults. NorCal Fighting Alliance is partnered with Cesar Gracie Fighter schools in Northern California, including Gracie Fighter Lodi, Gracie Fighter Pleasanton, Gracie Fighter San Francisco, and Gilbert Melendez's The Scrap Pack. The gym states that first classes are free and invites new students to try a free class.
