Santa Rosa Bearcubs Basketball includes activities such as Open Gym, a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, and participation in the World Youth Basketball Tournament. The program offers an Open Gym session on February 21 from 12:00–2:00 PM at Piner High School.

The stated mission of Santa Rosa Bearcubs Basketball is to compete on the court while fostering an environment where each player can grow and develop their skills to their fullest potential. The program is dedicated to helping players enhance their basketball abilities, elevate their basketball IQ, and have an amazing time playing the game. Bear Cubs team members represent multiple high schools, including Piner, Cardinal Newman, Maria Carrillo, Analy, El Molino, Sonoma Academy, Montgomery, and Windsor High Schools. The program emphasizes the motto “Train Hard, Play Harder, Compete passionately & Most of all, Have FUN!!” Its community involvement includes providing new basketball shoes and assisting with related basketball fees for student-athletes in need, with a stated goal of extending this support beyond Sonoma County in the future.
