Santa Rosa Bearcubs Basketball includes activities such as Open Gym, a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, and participation in the World Youth Basketball Tournament in Kona, Hawaii. The program offers an Open Gym session on February 21 from 12:00–2:00 PM.

The stated mission of Santa Rosa Bearcubs Basketball is: “Train Hard, Play Harder, Compete passionately & Most of all, Have FUN!!” The Bearcubs Basketball Program has a strong commitment to their community. The Marcus Johnson Memorial Foundation 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament provides new basketball shoes and assists with related basketball fees for student-athletes in need. Bear Cubs team members represent Piner, Cardinal Newman, Maria Carrillo, Analy, El Molino, Sonoma Academy, Montgomery, and Windsor High Schools.
