The Dance Center

The Dance Center offers a comprehensive program that includes tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, and musical theatre. All classes are held in-studio and in-person, and masks are required for anyone who is unvaccinated. The studio describes itself as Sonoma County’s premiere dance studio.

The Dance Center is celebrating 45 years of dance in the community. Its mission states that it provides a professional, creative atmosphere with a positive learning environment for every student regardless of age and experience level. Dancers train with teachers described as the best in the North Bay. The studio’s multiple award-winning performing companies offer in-depth dance training, as well as performance and competition opportunities. The Dance Center has close ties to the Santa Rosa Sister City Program, which has included company dancers traveling to perform in front of an international audience in Jeju, South Korea. Annual company holiday shows are described as spectacular productions highlighting the most advanced dancers, and annual June shows are well-known throughout the area and include performance experiences for dancers from beginning through advanced levels.
