The academy’s mission is to provide students of all ages with the highest level of instruction and skills they need to enjoy music for a lifetime. AAM students have earned over 1000 international awards and have a 100% passing score for CM tests of the Music Teachers Association of California, NA tests of the American College of Musicians, and RCM and ABRSM tests of the Royal School of Music, with most students passing with Merit or Distinction on these exams. The program offers annual community charity recitals at senior citizen homes and convalescent hospitals. The educational style is based on the traditions of the Russian school of music while implementing principles of American pedagogical methods, and students can choose an amateur or professional path, including preparation and enrollment in CM, Guide, and ABRSM exams. One parent shared that the program contributed to their child’s confidence, love of music, and awareness of creativity and imagination.
