Garrod Farms Summer Horse Camp

Garrod Farms Summer Horse Camp offers Summer Horse Camp for Children, Pony Pals Camp, Tails and Trails Camp, Rawhide Club Camp, Bridle Trekkers Camp, and Hunt Club Camp. It also offers horseback riding lessons in English and Western styles, Little Wranglers Group Horseback Riding Lessons for ages 6 and 7, and a Horse Management Program.

Programs

• Summer Horse Camp for Children — 8-15 years old; campers must be in the appropriate age-group camp and age is whatever age they will be on the first day of camp · Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.; one- and two-week sessions throughout the summer
• Pony Pals Camp — 8 and 9 years old · 1-week and 2-week sessions
• Tails and Trails Camp — 10 and 11 years old · 1-week and 2-week sessions
• Rawhide Club Camp — 12 years and over · 1-week and 2-week sessions
• Bridle Trekkers Camp — 10 and 11 years old · 1-week and 2-week sessions
• Hunt Club Camp — 12 years and older
• Horseback Riding Lessons — 8 and up; younger riders are welcome in Little Wranglers ages 6 & 7 or 1/2 hour Pony Walks · Monday–Friday all day; Saturday · Lessons are provided in both English and Western styles. Reservations only. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall and weigh less than 225 lbs.
• Little Wranglers Group Horseback Riding Lessons — 6-7 years old · Tuesday 4:00 PM · $325 per session · 50-minute lessons. Max 8 riders. Taught by CHA-Certified instructors.
• Horse Management Program — at least 13 and have completed 7th grade · up to 5 to 8 hours per week for training sessions · $35 per month · Includes lessons, free riding, grooming, saddling and cleaning. Students must attend their chosen ETS each week.
