About
NorCal Impact Field Hockey Club offers club training, tournaments, a high school Summer League, a 3-Day Summer Camp in 2025, pick-up and play field hockey, private field hockey sessions, a June Special focused on private sessions and game play, and tryouts for the 2026 Winter/Spring sessions. Tryouts for the 2026 Winter/Spring sessions will take place on January 3–4, 2026. The club requires each athlete to hold a current USA Field Hockey (USAFH) membership before participating.

NorCal Impact Field Hockey Club started as a small club in 2008, organized by passionate parents and former players in Saratoga, CA, and later became NorCal Impact under Coach Leaf’s direction. The club trains players from around the Bay Area, including Cupertino, Davis, San Ramon, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Palo Alto, and San Jose, and its players represent 13 different schools. The club’s coach-to-player ratio aims to be 1:15, and club alumni who compete at collegiate and national levels, along with local collegiate players, collaborate at trainings.
NorCal Impact FHC states that its philosophy is to grow the game, support equitable play, and balance quality yet fun coaching to engage and challenge players. Its mission is to advocate for equity and representation and to create a competitive, yet welcoming space for all athletes, emphasizing integrity and character development through competitive sport while building positive relationships throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
