NorCal Impact Field Hockey Club offers club training, tournaments, a high school summer league, a 5-day summer camp, private sessions, and tryouts. The program includes participation in events such as Nexus Regionals and the Cal Cup International Tournament. Tryouts for the 2026 Winter/Spring sessions will take place on Jan 3–4, 2026.

NorCal Impact Field Hockey Club started as a small club in 2008, organized by parents and former players in Saratoga, CA, and later morphed into NorCal Impact under Coach Leaf’s direction. The coaching staff includes Leaf Huynh, Linda De Los Reyes, Craig Haley, Pasindu Wanigasooriya, Jaclyn Zamudio, Jackie Rodriguez, Raju Kadam, Mia Karine “MK” Myklebust, Mia Clark, Bella Ganocy, and Erin McGill-Pelleti. The club states that it believes in growing the game, advocating for equity and representation, creating a competitive yet welcoming space for all athletes, and prioritizing character development through competitive sport while building positive relationships throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
NorCal Impact Field Hockey Club notes that players represent 13 different schools, and newly minted Impact players come from seven different schools in the Bay Area. Club alumni and local collegiate players collaborate at trainings, and the coach-to-player ratio aims to be 1:15. Membership in the club requires the athlete to be a member of USA Field Hockey, and once an athlete is registered for tryouts, details are sent regarding location, times, and a waiver to be signed.
The club reports that its U16 team won the silver medal (2nd place) in the U16 division at the Cal Cup International Tournament in 2026. Club alum and coach Mia Karine “MK” Myklebust was named to the United States Senior National Team in 2026. Club alumni have received collegiate post-season recognition, including Audrey Pace earning DIII All American Third Team status in 2023, Jordan Reicher being named NFHCA Third Team All American (D1) for the 2025 season, seniors Leaya Cleary and Elle Obenour being honored with MAXFieldHockey All West/Midwest Region 2nd Team, and student-athletes being named to the NFHCA 2025 National Academic Squad.
