Saratoga French Cultural Preschool

Saratoga French Cultural Preschool offers French immersion with French as the primary language of communication. Children take part in hands-on learning, creative play, child-initiated play, and play-based learning experiences that include music, storytelling, stories, songs, circle time, arts and crafts, dance, and playful workshops. The program also includes outdoor and nature-based exploration, visual, tactile, auditory, and vocal activities, “Montre Et Raconte” (Show and Tell), and field trips for experiences outside the classroom.

Saratoga French Cultural Preschool offers nature-oriented, Waldorf-inspired early childhood education in a calm, charming classroom setting. It provides comprehensive French immersion programs for children ages 2 through Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, including a French Kindergarten option. The program uses the Paul et Suzanne French language curriculum designed specifically for preschoolers and the Brindami la Souris Francophone program for children ages 2–5, organized around six learning domains: Appropriating Language, Discovering Writing, Action & Self-Expression, Becoming a Student, Discovering the World, and Perceiving & Creating. Small class sizes include three teachers per class with small group sizes. Parent involvement is an essential component of the program, with regular communication about workshop topics and progress and home activities to reinforce learning concepts. Founded in 2015, the program is trusted by families in Saratoga and the greater Silicon Valley community.
